In gymnastics, a kip is a basic skill on the bars. The kip is an advanced technique to mount the bars or used to connect skills in a bar routine. There are a variety of kip types: glide kip, long hang kip and drop kip. Gymnasts in this clinic will learn the fundamentals and conditioning exercises necessary to master the kip on bars. Athletes must be a level 3 rec or higher to participate in this clinic.
